Black Sand Beach Photoshoot in Bali

Bali’s black sand beaches are completely unreal—rich, moody, and unlike anything I’ve shot before. This photoshoot felt like something straight out of a magazine: a minimal black bikini, soft salty skin, and dramatic rock formations that created the perfect editorial swimwear setting.

The black sand gave every image a cinematic contrast. The textures were incredible—wet sand, glossy rocks, and water trickling down from the cliffs. The model’s poses interacted beautifully with the environment, highlighting her silhouette against the deep tones of the landscape.

This was one of the most visually striking shoots of the entire trip. It pushed me creatively, especially when working with varying light and reflective water. The result: a bold, editorial series that showcases the wild beauty of Bali’s coastline.
